The LivingColors lamp will definitely brighten up your home in ways you never imagined before, bringing the full range of a rainbow into your living room. You know those flying sticks that you played with when you were a kid? All you need to do is place the stick between your palms and give it a good rub before releasing it into the air, where the aerodynamics of the propeller will keep it flying for some time. The Flying Stick Camera is based on that principle, although it throws in a camera that captures images at set intervals so you never quite know what you’re getting. There is no word on the resolution, but that’s only to be expected since this is but a concept from Tsunho Wang.

Wild Fire Motors has released its three-wheeled vehicle, the WF250-C that nets you an amazing 72 miles per gallon without breaking the bank with its $5,495 starting price. EPA certification states that this is a “highway motorcycle”, making this a street legal vehicle to travel around. There doesn’t seem to be any seat belts in sight, but then again you don’t have that on your regular bike, do you? Also, with just 17 horsepower lugging you around, this isn’t exactly the most highway-friendly vehicle. What’s good about this would be having it zip around town in a fast and efficient manner. Perhaps future iterations could see seat belts and airbags included. Could this possibly be the future of the infamous Tuk-Tuks in Thailand?

We all know that swords are very dangerous things, especially in the wrong (and right) hands, so it makes me wonder which designer had a violent moment of inspiration to come up with the Sword Lamp. Meant for decorativ purposes only (duh), it retails for a whopping $296.59. Which begs the question - should somebody break into your home in the middle of the night, do you actually break a lamp over his head the traditional way, or use this as a form of self defense?

I don’t know how lazy you must be to pick up the Walking Chair, but this is just plain nuts! Designer Karl Emilio Pircher and Fidel Peugeot worked on this idea that is constructed from a bunch of chrome plated steel tubes, plastic, and houses an electronic heart within. Sure, this seater will bring you places (I wonder if it can handle stairs and slopes, or is it just limited to a level segment on the ground) but with a price tag of 15,000 Euros, your heart will probably make a quick jump to your mouth first.

Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, so they say, and this was proved by a Florida woman who believed she was about to get fired. In order to exact her revenge, she apparently deleted $2.5m worth of computer files (that’s approximately 7 years’ worth of drawings). The reason behind this madness? She came across a “Help Wanted” ad placed by her boss which was actually a position that was pretty much an identical match to hers. Further investigations revealed that the position advertised was actually meant for her boss’ wife’s office, so she wasn’t in any real danger then - although after her bone-headed move, this could mean she’ll probably get fired. What can we learn of all this? Always, always keep a backup of your data. Preferably at a place only you know where and how to retrieve it.
